Leonard "Lee" Kidd was born on February 22, 1945 in Bluffton, SC to the late Dorothy Kidd Frazier and Harold Frazier.

He confessed Christ as his personal savior on November 22, 2014 and became a member of First Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev, Bennie L. Jenkins Jr.

He attended the public schools of Beaufort County and later joined the Job Corps in Leavenworth Kentucky where he earned a degree in welding and electrician.

He moved to New York City where he spent the next 40+ years. As his health began to fail, he returned home to be with his family.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents Dorothy and Harold and one sister Mary Morris. He departed this life on Wednesday, august 5, 2015 at 12:19 am at home with his family at his bedside. He knew he was going to a place prepared for him by his master as promised in the scripture.

He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish loving memories, three sons, Dylan Johnson, Andre Hampton both of New York City and David Perry of Bluffton, SC; seven grandchildren; five brothers Frank (Margie) Kidd of Hardeeville, SC, Thomas Frazier, Richard Frazier, Ben Frazier and Anthony (Magaline) Frazier all of Bluffton, SC; six sisters, Martha Brown, Lucille (Theo) Heyward both of Bluffton, SC, Betty (Thomas) Aiken of HIlton Head, Donna Morgan, Cheryl Frazier and Debbie Frazier all of New York; also an extended family of sisters and brothers to include, Ellla Chisolm, Elouise Bolden, Queene Gibbs, Debbie Dupont. Amarie Nolan, Virginia Anderson, Theresa Anderson and Earl Anderson; one aunt Hester (Leroy) Meadows of Summerville, SC; 63 nieces  and nephews; two special cousins, Syble Bush and Morris Brown. A host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
