Tommy Kevin Mitchell, was born on January 16, 1991 to Tommy and Daisy Mitchell in Colleton County.
Tommy better known as “Kevin” attended St. Mary AME Church where he accepted Christ at an early age. Tommy was employed at Hampton Inn by Hilton, and Lowes. Tommy graduated from Colleton County High School in 2009. With a strong passion for music he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Music Production. Known for his music creativity and his tenacious focus, immediately he pursued a Master of Science in Entertainment Business.
Tommy was loved and revered for that ever longing smile, and very humble personality. He won you over immediately as a friend. Tommy would be greatly saddened if I didn’t tell you all that the Tennessee Titans was going to win it all this year. “Bojangles” is what his father called him, and “My Boy” is what Aunt Frankie would call him. A lessoned learned from his life to pursue what you’re passionate about with passion.
Tommy inspired people from all over the world some he met and didn’t meet, whether it was via Facebook, collaborating with classmates, or upcoming musical artist, or just merely being friends. Always consistent and ready when it came to music, even when chores needed to be done. Always loved and will always and forever be missed.
Tommy entered into eternal rest on Sunday August 7, 2016 in North Charleston, SC.
Tommy leaves behind both parents Tommy and Daisy Mitchell of Green Pond, SC; one grandmother, Geraldine Mitchell of Indian Creek, SC; two brothers, Gary (Falicia) Brown of Newport News, VA, and Christopher Mitchell of Green Pond, SC; two sisters, Sharell Mitchell, and Tiffany Mitchell both of Green Pond, SC; three nephews, and three nieces, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, and his best friend, James Little.
