Mr. Richard Kannick, Jr., the son of the late Mariah and Richard Kannick, Sr., was born September 15, 1944 on Spring Island, SC. He attended the public schools of Beaufort County, SC. Richard was joined in union to the late Sarah Mitchell Kannick of Bluffton, SC.

On Monday, February 5, 2018 at the MUSC Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina, a golden heart stopped beating and hardworking hands went to rest.
