Lois Germain was born August 19, 1942 to the late Lula Mae Chisolm and the late Levy Jones in Walterboro, South Carolina.
She entered eternal rest on March 10, 2018. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Lee Jones, Levi Jones, Jimmy Lee Jones; her beloved sisters, Myrtis Jones, Jessie Sutter and Mary Robinson along with her son in law, Gregory Hayes in which she was very fond of.
Lois received her education from the public schools system of Walterboro, South Carolina through Colleton County. Lois accepted her Lord and Savior with Wesley Grove United Methodist Church in Cottageville, South Carolina where she was a member. Lois then relocated to New York City, New York and continued to serve the Lord once she completed high school. Lois then married Randy Germain. She was employed with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Hospital as a Unit Research Secretary on the bone marrow unit. She loved her job and served dutifully for 33 years then became retired in 2006. Lois loved serving the Lord and became an active member in her church in which she spread the word of  God to others, along with giving our literature and rejoicing in her community.
Lois leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Zelithea Hayes of Chesapeake, Virginia; two grandchildren whom she loved unconditionally Maurice Hayes and Destany Hayes of Chesapeake, Virginia; two great grandchildren, Jamari Hayes of Fairburn, Georgia and Armannii Bradshaw-Hayes of Virginia Beach, Virginia; four sisters, Kay Howard of New York, New York, Pearl,( Jason) Birtha of Englewood, New Jersey, Lue Charles of Teaneck, New Jersey and Catherine Sellers of Brooklyn, New York; two brothers, Henry Jones of Columbia, South Carolina and Joe Jones of Kent, Washington. Lois also leaves behind her companion of 30 plus years John Harris of Englewood, New Jersey whom she loved and adored and spoke of all the time. Lois leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Lois has truly touched the lives of family and friends and has been the rock for the family. She has touched each and every one of us through her knowledge and spirit. She will truly be missed and will always be a part of our hearts.
