Leroy “Hack” Singleton, 66, was born August 6, 1951 to the late Hackles and Eva Singleton on St. Helena Island, South Carolina.
At an early age, Leroy became a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church on St. Helena Island.
He received his formal education in the Beaufort County School system and attended St. Helena High School. Leroy was employed by Beaufort Memorial Hospital for 36 years as an Emergency Room Technician until his retirement.
Leroy enjoyed socializing most of all he cherised every moment talking and spending time with family and friends.
On Monday, March 26, 2018 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital Leroy “Hack” Singleton entered into eternal rest. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by  two brothers, Johnathan Singleton and Edward Williams; one sister, Louise S. Dale. Leroy will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Leroy leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife, Jaqueline Singleton; children, Jeanette (Derek) Holmes, Alonzo (Sonya) Singleton, Kenyetta Singleton, Justin Parker, Jason Mack and Tyrone Butler; step daughters, Nyaisha Griffin, Hannah Martin, Makayla Martin;  god daughter, Nekeria Jones; sisters and brothers, Hestine (James) Major, Walter (Gussie) Singleton, Rosa Mae Daise, Jeanette Singleton, Elizabeth Grant, John Singleton and Henry Singleton; special aunts, Katherine Austin, Queen Singleton, Isabelle Jenkins and Essie Mae Legree; brothers and sisters in law, Samuel (Sandrew) Bison, Prophetess Sandra Pryor, David (Alonda) Webb, Willie (Gwendolyn) Smalls, Gussie Webb and Ernest Blue; special mother in law, Annette Webb; also a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and caring friends to include his special niece, Betty Ann Hugue and a special friend, Ed Legree.
