Benjamin “Benny” Fay Albergottie, 58, was the son of the late Victoria and Reverend Harry S. Albergottie of Gardens Corner, South Carolina. He was born January 30, 1964 in Beaufort, South Carolina. He received his formal education in the Beaufort County Public Schools and later graduated from Sunrise High School in Sheldon, South Carolina. When Benjamin reached manhood, he joined the United States Army where he served his country, was honorably discharged, and he returned home. He was a member of the Huspah Baptist Church. His hobbies included riding his bike, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
God called for Benjamin to come back to his home in Glory on August 4, 2022 and Jesus carried him up from his earthly home, the Veterans Victory House in Walterboro, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his two brothers: Joe Nathan Parker and Harold Sneed Albergottie.
Those left to cherish his memories are his three sisters: May Bell (John) Hayes, Cynthia A. (William) White, and Minister Priscilla A. Williams, one Brother: Alvin V. Albergottie, one sister-in-law: Yun Sun “Jean” Albergottie, six nieces: Maxine Daise, Michelle Daise, Mary Albergottie, Victoria Sams, Crystal Daniels, and Elisa “Lisa” Williams, three nephews: Romello “Romie” Albergottie, Antonio “Tony” Albergottie, and Roderick “Champ” Williams, II, four great nieces: Olivia Walton, Karmen Sams, Alanna Daniels, and Rae-Lynn R. Williams, one great nephew: Jasper Roberts, and a host of cousins, relatives, and many friends.
