David Leon Waring

David Leon Waring, 62, of Beaufort, SC passed away at St. Joseph's Candler Hospital in Savannah, on Saturday, November 12, 2022. He is the husband of Stacey Sharpe-Waring. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.  

David Leon Waring, son of the late Luther Frazier and late Ethel Bell Waring. He was educated in the Beaufort County Public School. At an early age David left Beaufort and relocated to Georgia.
David loved the Lord and wanted to know more about him. In 1999, he joined Mt. Nebo Baptist Church and was the last person to be baptized in the church outside pool. He loved his family and friends and he never met a stranger.
After returning to Beaufort David met and married his queen Stacey Renee Sharpe-Waring. They got married on his 40th birthday, August 5, 2000. He would always say he got the best present on this day, his beautiful queen. David’s favorite team were the Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Falcons. He would always say Renee alive or dead I’m always going to be a Falcon fan.
On Saturday, November 12, 2022 David passed away at St. Joseph’s Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. David was preceded in death by his sister Cora Waring- Smith.
David leaves to mourn his passing: his loving wife Stacey Renee Sharpe-Waring, sisters; Joyce Grant of Florida, Geraldine Waring of New Jersey, Alice Jones, Betty Jean Waring and Lavern Waring(Gerald) all of Beaufort, SC, his mother-in-law Adeline Sharpe, his babies; Alijah Sharpe (“My Boy”), Kameron Brown (“Best Friend”), Elijah “Eli” Roberts (“My Buddy”), Alainah and Alana Watson (“My Little Ladies”), one brother-in-law Paul Jones, and favorite cousins; Annette, Norma, and Katrina, along with a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
