Micheal Pinckney, age 66, son of the late Charlotte S. and David Pinckney, Sr., was born on December 25, 1955, in Jasper County, South Carolina. He was educated in the public schools of Jasper County.
After graduating from high school, he entered and served in the United States Army. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina. He attended Second African Baptist Church in Coosawhatchie, SC, and he was a member of Community Bible Church in Beaufort, SC.
Micheal departed this life on Wednesday, September 8, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charlotte S. and David Pinckney Sr.; five siblings: Edna P. Jenkins, Lorraine P. Summerville, Robert L. Pinckney, David Pinckney, Jr., and Julie P. Youmans.
He leaves to cherish his memories one sister, Ruthie Ann P. Benson of Charlotte, North Carolina; two brothers: Daniel Pinckney of Jonesboro, Georgia and James Pinckney of Point South, South Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
