Randolph Pinckney, 61, of Ridgeland, SC passed away at his residence Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.
On February 3, 1962, Albertha Wright Pinckney and the late Edward Pinckney, Jr., welcomed their third child into the world. Randolph Pinckney grew up surrounded by the love of his parents and his siblings.
Randolph, better known as Randy by his loved ones, was always reserved with his words but very well spoken and well-mannered to everyone in his presence. During his early years, Randy found his one of his many sparks in athletics and rose as a star athlete in his community. While attending Ridgeland High School from 1976-1980 he excelled in both baseball and football.
After high school Randy made the decision to serve his country by joining The United States Army. He devoted 4 years of his life to his miliary career before he returned home. Upon his arrival he attended. Savannah Technical College. He was certified in several technical areas such as HAVC, electrical services and welding. Randy believed in hard work and had a strong work ethic. Randy worked at the GeorgiaState Port Authority as a Forman where he retired in 2018. While he retired from work, he still stayed busy by doing odd jobs for friends and family around the neighborhood.
Randolph was proceeded in death by his Father Edward Pinckney, Jr., in 2021. He leaves behind his adorned family as followed: His Mother, Albertha Wright Pinckney of Ridgenland, SC; his Great Grandfather Edward Pinckney, Sr., of Beauford, SC; his siblings, Dorothy Ann Mack (James), Edward Jerome Pickney Ill, Delores Brown, Valerie Chislom (Norris) all of Ridgeland SC, and Dottie Bolden of Hilton Head, SC; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
