Simon Seabrook

Simon Seabrook, 71, of St. Helena, SC passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.

Brother Simon Chester Seabrook, Jr. was born on October 23, 1950,  Dorothy Smalls Seabrook and the late Simon C. Seabrook, Sr., on St. Helena Island. 
Simon received his education from Beaufort County Schools, where he attended and graduated from St. Helena High School. He continued his education at Technical College of the Lowcountry Beaufort as a mechanic. He also had a passion for farming where he devoted his time on his father’s farm. He was a very giving person.
At an early age he gave his life to the Lord an joined the Ebenezer Baptist Church. In 2001, the Lord led him to the Israelite Baptist Church on Lady’s Island. He loved to sing so he joined the Senior Choir. He would bring us such wonderful old Hymns. He loved the church and his church family he especially loved his pastor he considered him as a big brother.
In 1977, he entered Holy Matrimony to Annette Linda Robinson a loving and devoted wife of 45 years.
On Saturday, August 6, 2022, Simon entered eternal rest at the Kershaw Medical Center in Kershaw, South Carolina. In addition to his father, Simon was preceded in death by his sister Millie S. Birdon.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife Annette Linda Seabrook; mother: Dorothy Smalls Seabrook; one very devoted brother John Seabrook (Jannette “Brenda”); two sisters: Leola Seabrook of New York and Betty Strickland of St. Helena Island, seven sisters in law: Doris Holmes, Jenie Polite, Jannette Seabrook (John), Vivian Robinson, Ella Singleton, Blondell Robinson, Henrietta Armstrong, one brother-in-law: Lester Robinson, Jr., a host of cousins, other relatives, and many friends. And an especially very good friend like a brother Harry Legree.
