Wesley Bush, Jr., 56, of Hardeeville, SC passed away at his home on Sunday, August 7, 2022. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.

 


Wesley “Pumkin” Bush, Jr. was born in Savannah, GA on September 15, 1965 to Mary Edwards Bush and the late Westley Bush, Sr. He grew up in Pritchardville, SC.
At the age of sixteen, he became a young entrepreneur in the Landscaping business. He served many clients throughout the low country until his health started to fail. 
Wesley received his education through the Beaufort County School System. Wesley was hardworking, dependable and always on point. There wasn’t no job too big or small for him. He enjoyed what he did as a Landscaper for many years. 
In his spear time he also enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends. He recently joined Jones Temple New Church of Christ of Apostolic Faith, Inc. 
Wesley “Pumkin” Bush, Jr. at the age of 56, passed away peacefully at his resident on Sunday, August 7, 2022 in Hardeeville, SC. Surrounded by his family. He will deeply be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memoires: his devoted wife of 39 year; Mrs. Lesely Kitty Bush of Hardeeville, SC; two daughters: Andrina (Derick) Turner of Bluffton, SC and Barbara Kitty (Kevin) Major of Orlando, FL; two sons: Wesley Bush, III of Beaufort, SC and Jerome Bush (Brittany) Thomas of Georgia; two special sons whom he raised: Cleveland Edwards of Bluffton, SC and Malcolm Chisholm of Hardeeville, SC; sisters: Michelle (Gerard) Kitty of Ridgeland, SC, Teresa Bush of Bluffton, SC, Latrelle Bush (Willie) Black, Jr. of Bluffton, SC, Margie Hollan, Dionne Rhoe, Lona Rhoe, Mona Rhoe  and  Sandquetta Rhoe all of Savannah, GA; brothers: William Edwards and Charles Bush both of Bluffton, SC; sisters in law: Vanassia Gadson, Annie Mae, Felicia (Henry) Early all of Hilton Head Island, SC and Yulanda (Herbert) Mitchell of Bluffton, SC, Shontelle (Keith) Marshall of Beaufort, SC and Charisse (Anthony) Reid of Bluffton, SC; brother in law: Wesley (Sequoia) Chisolm of Okatie, SC; uncles: John Edwards of Bluffton, SC, Mr. & Mrs. Henry Edwards of Georgia, Frances (Bretha) Bush of Tampa, FL and Ned Bush of Bluffton, SC; aunts: Joann (Charlie) Houston of Ridgeland, SC and Carolyn Young of Hardeeville, SC; twenty-four grandchildren; special friends: Tyrone Hamilton, Danny Polite, Sam Green and Pumpkin Bush; an a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
