A Public Viewing for Mr. William Hamilton will be held Friday, September 16, 2022, at Allen Funeral Home in Ridgeland (Coosawhatchie) from 5 PM to 7 PM.
The Funeral Service for Mr. William Hamilton will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Allen Funeral Home in Ridgeland (Coosawhatchie) at 11 o'clock in the morning.
William Hamilton son of the late James Hamilton and Cora Deloach was born on August 15, 1934, in Jasper County.
William graduated from Jasper Country School. He was retired from landscaping for about fifteen years. He attended Baptist Second A&B in Coosawhatchie, SC as he served on the Usher Board for many years. He was under the leadership of Pastor Kenneth E. White for years. He helped his local community senior citizens for various years as well. He loved spending family time with his kids, grands and great grands.
William was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Birdie Mae Busby years ago. To this union seven children was born.
On Saturday, September 10, 2022, William made his peaceful transition home at his residence in South Carolina. He was preceded in death by five of his children, four brothers, and one sister.
William leaves to cherish his unforgettable memories his daughters; Fannie E. Hamilton, Barbara A. Fennell, and Patricia Going, sons; Mark Anthony Hamilton (Jackie Hamilton), Alphonso Hamilton (Shaleena Hamilton), 24 grandchildren, various great grands, two nieces; Barbara Jean Smith, and Sanan Smith, two brothers-in-law; Nathaniel Busby of Newark, NJ, and Joseph Busby of Savannah, GA, along with a host of other relatives, and friends.
